Q: What are your opening hours?
A: Our Opening hours are as follows:
Monday – Friday 5.45 am – 10.00pm
Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays – 7.00am – 8.00pm
Q: How do I find out about children’s swimming lessons?
A: For information on swimming lessons and squads please contact Hilton Brown Swim School directly on 09 5290177 or visit their website www.hiltonbrownswimming.co.nz
Q: Do you have lockers at the Olympic?
A: Yes, we have lockers in both the Men’s and Women’s changing room. The lockers in the changing rooms you can either use your own padlock or we sell padlocks at the front Desk. Alternatively, we do have coin operated lockers on poolside which take a $2 coin.
Q: Do you have a crèche facility?
A: Yes, we have a crèche facility on sight for session times and booking please contact Dianne on 09 5221532.
Q: What are your Pool Prices?

Casual entry for the pool prices are below for details on membership please pick up a brochure from reception or call 09 5224414 ext 0.
Adult- $7.50
Student -$6.50 (With ID)
Senior (over 60) - $5
Child (under 15) -$5
Under 5’s are free with a full paying adult.
These prices include the use of the sauna, steam room, and spa pool.
Q: Do you have Parking Facilities?
A: We have an agreement with Wilson car park on Davis Cres (behind the Olympic)
You just need to bring your ticket into reception we will stamp it and you will get 50% discount on the first two hours.
Q: Can I get a GST invoice/receipt for my membership payments?
A: Yes, just pop into reception and give your details and they will arrange that for you.
Q: I have lost my membership card. How do I get a new one?
A: A $3 replacement card fee applies. New cards are available from reception.
Q: Can someone teach me how to use the equipment in the gym?
A: Included in your fitness centre membership you are entitled to a fitness assessment and programme show every eight weeks through-out your membership. To book assessments please speak to one of our instructors in the gym.
Q: What kind of classes are right for me?
A: All our classes have been designed to suit all levels of fitness and abilities. If it’s your first time in a class just let the instructor now and they can keep an eye on you!
Q: I have never done group fitness classes before. How do I start?
A: Just show up! Class timetables are available online and from reception.
We recommend you arrive 5-10 mins prior to the start time.
Q: What do I need to bring with me to workout?
A: Bring your membership card, padlock and towel.
Q: Do you offer group discounts on memberships?
A: Yes, there is some great saving to be made on groups joining for 12 month or longer. For more information please contact emma@theolympic.co.nz
Q: Can I put my membership on hold?
A: Yes, if you are on a 12 or 24 month direct debit membership you are able to suspend your membership for 1 month in every 12 month period. If you have a medical condition or injury we may consider suspension for a longer period. Please direct all enquiries on suspension to ali@theolympic.co.nz
Q: Do personal trainers charge for their training?
A: Yes, all our personal trainers are self employed. Personal training is great for those wanting one on one training. Visit our personal training page to meet the Olympic Trainers.
